Connor
Hughes, Darius Palma and Alfie Belcher have all checked into Shawe View.
Hughes,
28, is a midfielder who joined NPL Premier Division side Ashton United in June
2019 from Vanarama National League North neighbours Curzon Ashton, for whom he
scored 2 goals in 18 appearances in 2018/19.
He
began his career with Oldham Athletic, making his first team debut as a sub in
March 2012.
Arguably
his most prominent spell came with Hyde United between 2013-2015, where he
scored 10 league goals in 62 appearances.
He
also featured for Halifax Town, Worcester City, Warrington Town and Stalybridge
Celtic.
Palma (pictured),
22, is a wide player who has re-joined Trafford having had a spell with North
West Counties side Wythenshawe Town.
He
had signed for National League North club Curzon Ashton in August 2020 from
Trafford but switched to Northern Premier neighbours Hyde United a month later.
He
had been with Trafford since January 2018, having arrived from National League
new boys Altrincham.
He
had joined Altrincham in July 2016 and went on to spend two years with the
Robins before making the move across the Manchester to Trafford.
While
at Moss Lane, he also enjoyed a short-term loan spell with Kidsgrove Athletic.
He
has also fought at elite level in kick boxing competitions from the age of 6
and has since gone on to register over 15 professional fights, winning at least
10 of those.
Also
signing for Trafford is midfielder Alfie Belcher from North West Counties
League Premier Division side Prestwich Heys.
He
was previously with Manchester League outfit Beechfield United. |
