With
290 appearances in Dolly Blue, Henry knows the club inside out.
He
originally returned with Fell in October 2018 but left for North West Counties League
Premier Division side Northwich Victoria last summer to prolong his playing
career.
A
UEFA A licence coach, as well as City, he has also had spells with Ramsbottom
United, Kendal Town, Bamber Bridge, Leek Town and Chorley, having started his
career in the academy at Burnley.
He works as a teacher and coach at Myerscough College and Preston North End.
Fell
told the club`s website: “I’ve been weighing up our options really in regards
staffing, we had a bit of a restructure at the end of last season and I’ve
spoken with Rob over the summer about possibilities here. It gives me two great
right-hand men with different but complimentary skills and attributes.
“Rob
will have a key role to play on the training pitch with the lads, he knows the
league, the players and the way in which we operate. Already in the last week
he’s had a great impact on the group and I’m looking forward to working
together again moving into the 2020/21 season”. |
