Hughes, 23, joins the Mariners on loan from JD Cymru Premier side The New Saints until January 2021, subject to international clearance.

He has previously featured at the club, as well as a stint at Warrington Town.

Manager Neil Young told www.marinefc.com: "Adam is a player we tried to sign a number of months ago and we have kept in touch with TNS about the possibility of bringing him in on loan.

"He has a good knowledge of the club having played here previously and has experience, is aggressive, a good communicator and good in possession."

Passant (pictured), 19, has been training with the club throughout pre-season after being released by SkyBet League Two neighbours Tranmere Rovers and has featured in most of the friendlies, including the club's recent 4-1 win over FC United of Manchester at the Marine Travel Arena.
