The
versatile midfielder, who had spells with Vanarama National League champions
Barrow AFC and NPL Division One North West outfit Kendal Town, becomes the Dolly
Blues` fifth signing of the summer.
Born
in Cumbria, he played most of his early football with local side Hawcoat Park
and became the first player to sign a full contract with Barrow after coming
through their performance academy and under-21 side.
He
signed forms at the start of November 2018 and made his debut off the
bench
at Sutton United in mid-February 2019.
However,
he was released at the end of the 2018/19 season and joined neighbours Kendal.
City
boss Mark Fell told the club`s website: “He’s got some fantastic attributes
that fit really nicely into the way we do things. He’s dynamic, tenacious and
has good quality on the ball.
“He’s
still raw in areas and that’s our job to bring the best out of him and help him
develop further, but he’s got great potential and a drive about him to play as
high as he can”. |
