Robinson will be taking a break from football to spend more time with his family and the demands of his day job.

Astill has recently been appointed joint-manager of league rivals West Bridgford along with Aaron Large.

Joint boss Chris Marks (pictured) will be staying at the club as manager and has moved quickly to appoint Andy Clerke as assistant-manager and Gavin Mee as coach.

Clerke joins Gedling from local Notts Senior League side Gedling Southbank where he has been managing for the last few seasons, finishing sixteenth last campaign.

He brings with him some great experience around the local football scene and will bring a professional ethics into the club as we look to build on last season.

Mee comes to Gedling after a spell as coach at Basford United Community.

He has a UEFA B coaching badge.
