Manager
Sam Wilkinson has brought in a plethora of new players, some of which have
already been reported here.
He
has re-signed defender Callum Foster from Toolstation Northern Counties East
League Division One side Winterton Rangers.
After
coming through the ranks at Lincoln United and being part of the successful
development team during the 2018/19 season, Foster went on loan to Winterton
Rangers.
That
moved turned into a permanent one in preparation for the 2019/20 season - a
season which would see Foster play a key part in Winterton's success, sitting fourth
in the table prior to the season being declared null and void.
Sheffield-born
forward Harrison Holland arrives from Uhlsport United Counties League Premier
Division side Boston Town.
He
has been with professional clubs such as Exeter City, Sheffield Wednesday,
Doncaster Rovers and Nottingham Forest and was at Vanarama National League
North outfit Boston United before crossing town.
Goalkeeper
Ross Woolley moves to Ashby Avenue after being released by SkyBet League One
side Lincoln City recently.
Woolley
played for Pinchbeck United in the United Counties League Premier Division last
season, making 18 appearances.
Woolley
will compete for the number one jersey with another former Imps` keeper in Michael
Antkowiak.
He
was also on Lincoln City`s books and had loan spells with Gainsborough Trinity,
Grantham Town and earlier with United Counties League outfit Leicester Nirvana.
Charlie
Ward (pictured) is a versatile player who can play in midfield or defence and loves a
battle.
He
joined league rivals Stamford AFC in June 2019 from United and then switched to
NPL Premier Division outfit Grantham Town in October 2019.
He
had originally joined Lincoln United in October 2017 from United Counties
League side Deeping Rangers and was previously with another UCL Premier side,
Sleaford Town.
Jack
McMenemy is a 21-year-old striker who joins from NCEL Premier Division side
Barton Town.
Originally
with Lincoln City, he joined Bottesford Town in August 2018 following a year
with Grantham Town.
He
then signed for United`s league rivals Frickley Athletic in May 2019 having scored
28 goals in 38 games for Bottesford in 2018/19.
Local,
prolific attacker Robbie Smith has made the move across from Newark Road
outfit, Lincoln Moorlands Railway, to join the Whites.
The
exciting young attacking prospect has been Moorlands' main source of goals for
the past couple of seasons and after specifically impressing last term.
After
being part of the Lincoln Moorlands 2018/19 `double` winning season, Smith went
on to score 26 goals in 23 games during the 2019/20 before the season was declared
null and void.
Another
forward, Jake Park, played for United at under-18 level before moving onto
Gainsborough Trinity where he played for a few seasons, mainly at under21 level,
but representing the first team on a couple of occasions.
After
Gainsborough, Park moved to AFC Mansfield where he played a part in the NCEL
Division One champions side.
The
following year, Park signed for Retford United but after a promising start to the
season, a serious knee injury saw out of action for 18 months.
A
return to football saw him play at local side Hykeham Town which would
ultimately see him score of 20 goals, be the team's top scorer as well as
challenging for the league's `golden boot` award.
