Left-back Storey has joined from new league rivals Gainsborough Trinity.
A former Grantham Town defender, Storey likes to move the backline forward and believes he can fit in with Basford style.
Storey knows the club already, telling the club`s website: “Basford always seemed like a club heading in the right direction. I've followed them for the past couple of years'. It seems like I'd be a good asset to them.”
Basford have also signed right-back Liam Bateman (pictured) from Evo-Stik Southern Central side Kettering Town.
From Nottingham, Bateman falls in with Basford's ethos of producing and encouraging talent within the local area.
He said: “I can see the club developing and I want to be part of that development. Bateman is also keen to push Basford to more success; 'I want to get on that pitch and hit the ground running”.
