Kevin Weldon and Matt Allman will be forming a management team including senior players Adam Wood and Lee Osbourne for the new campaign.

Weldon and Allman have a long experience in youth and under-21 football and are keen to step up to open age football with an emphasis on developing young talent and the opportunity at Brocton is ideal for this progression.

Existing senior players Wood and Osborne are also joining the management team as they have a keen interest in working with and developing players and will add experience and continuity.

Chairman Brian Townsend stated that the introduction of Weldon and Allman into the club`s football structure, together with experienced players like Wood and Osborne, who are already bedded into the Brocton way, bodes well for the future.

He told the club`s website: ‘The posts in management arose when Sam Norton and Matt Skinner stood down due to their respective work commitments. I am thrilled however, that both are remaining with Brocton and together with others will add to the resources which we are building at the club”.
