Hallett Returns to Gulls For the Fourth Time

BetVictor Isthmian League North club Canvey Island have re-signed prolific marksman Jason Hallett for the fourth time.

Hallett, 33, arrives from Isthmian Premier newcomers Cheshunt where he has been in free-scoring form since joining in 2015, helping the club to promotion via the play-offs last season.

He first joined Canvey via the youth and reserve sides after joining from Waltham Abbey.

He made his senior debut for the club in the Conference before leaving to have a three-year spell with Chelmsford City upon the Gulls resignation from the league.

He went on to sign twice more, first in September 2009 from Chelmsford and then again in December 2013 from island neighbours Concord Rangers.

He has also played for East Thurrock United.
