The
reigning Buildbase FA Vase and Combined Counties League champions have added Casey
Maclaren, Oliver Duffy and Scott Day to their successful squad.
Midfielder
Casey Maclaren joins brother Kevin – now the new manager - at Alwyns Lane.
He
joins having been recently on the books at Motorama National League South side
Hampton & Richmond Borough.
However,
it was his long spell with BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South
outfit Hendon that he will be best known for.
He
signed for the Greens in the summer of 2007 having previously been with AFC
Wimbledon.
He
became an integral part of the Hendon team, often alongside brother Kevin,
before leaving to join Hampton in June 2018.
Joining
from new league rivals Hanwell Town is midfielder or defender Oliver Duffy.
Despite
his young age, he notched up over 200 games for Hanwell and formed a formidable
central defensive partnership with brother Calum and proved his versatility by
playing in a midfield position.
He
had a brief spell with Wealdstone during the 2015/16 season, but a severe back
problem meant almost a year out of the game.
He
was originally with AFC Hayes.
Midfielder
Scott Day is a former Millwall youngster who was with Isthmian South East side
Whyteleafe last season.
Day
is an experienced 27-year-old who has also featured for Tooting & Mitcham
United, Kingstonian, Walton Casuals and Farnborough. |
