| The 31-year-old has made close to 150 appearances across the Football League and moves to the Silkmen from SkyBet League Two sideTranmere Rovers.
He started his career in the youth set-up at Everton and turned professional at when joining Stockport County for whom he made 62 appearances for.
Since then, he has played in Conference Premier for Lincoln City, where he also enjoyed a loan spell at Wrexham, before moving up the ranks to National League side Grimsby Town and League One sides, Chesterfield, Shrewsbury Town and Ipswich Town.
He joined Tranmere in the summer of 2022.
