Ferguson has agreed a deal at The Brewery Field for 2023/24 following his departure from Boston United. The talented 22-year-old spent time in the academies at Sheffield United and Tottenham Hotspur in his younger days before joining Boston after starring during a pre-season trial in 2021. Ferguson went on to become a mainstay in the Pilgrims’ line-up during his debut campaign, operating on the right and the left as they made it to the play-off final. He is a hard-working defender with the ability to get forward and supply crosses into the box. Chandler told https://spennymoortownfc.co.uk: “This is a top signing for the club. “Keenan is a player I have played against in the past. I have watched him develop over the last couple of years and he is a fantastic talent. “Like with every signing we make, his character is very important too and, from the moment we spoke, I knew he was the right fit for the Club. He is young, ambitious and very hungry to succeed. “He will add big quality to our squad and give us another dimension both in terms of our defending and in the attacking areas of the pitch. “We’re all very excited about him agreeing to join the club and we can’t wait to work with Keenan in the new season.” Harris (pictured) is a talented young front man who has put pen-to-paper on a deal at The Brewery Field following his departure from National League side Gateshead. The South Shields-born forward was on the books at Burnley and Hebburn Town during his younger days before earning a move to Sunderland in 2020. Harris spent two years at The Stadium of Light and made his senior debut for The Black Cats in a Papa John’s Trophy game against Lincoln City in October 2021 before making a further 5 senior appearances. He gained further experience with a loan spell at Barrow during the closing part of the 2021/22 campaign, playing 9 times in League Two for the Bluebirds as they escaped relegation. The whole-hearted front man was released from Sunderland in 2022 and he spent last term at The International Stadium where he found the net 4 times in his 30 appearances in all competitions. “We are delighted that Will has agreed to join us,” Chandler added. “When we speak about characters and the kind of profile we look for in players who are representing this club, Will ticks a lot of the boxes. “He is technically a very gifted striker, but he also possesses good physical attributes, which is important at the level we are playing at. “Will have a very close relationship with Lewis Dickman so we know that will make Will tick and how to get the best out of him, so we are excited to see him develop and score goals in a Moors shirt”.
