Daggers Move for Hill
Eastleigh have announced that Ryan Hill has completed a move to Vanarama National League rivals Dagenham & Redbridge.

The East London club made an approach for the winger who expressed his desire to join the former Spitfires’ boss Ben Strevens, at the Daggers. Hill made his 100th appearance on the final day of the 2022/23 season, which includes scoring 6 league goals in his three-year stint. The 25-year-old midfielder or winger joined the Spitfires in October 2020 from National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough. He had moved to the Beveree in September 2018 after being released by SkyBet Championship side Stoke City during the previous summer. He originally joined Stoke on trial during the 2016/17 season before the Potters offered the talented midfielder a two-year deal within the academy. He had been playing for Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South side Beaconsfield Town prior to Stoke’s interest. After completing his GCSE’s, he had been at the FAB Academy, which provides a three-year course for boys and girls who aspire to a career in football or the sports industry.
