The 6`7” shot-stopper has been recalled from a loan spell with Gateshead, where he made 12 appearances in the National League.
Langley, who turned 22 on Saturday, made his first-team debut for Newcastle during a pre-season friendly against York City in July 2021 before making another appearance away at Doncaster Rovers that summer.
The Northumberland-born goalkeeper was also named on the bench for the Magpies' 2-1 Premier League victory against West Bromwich Albion in December 2020.
