The 27-year-old returns to the SKYex Community Stadium from Isthmian League South Central side Leatherhead.

He had signed for the Tanners in January 2022 from the sadly now-defunct Walton Casuals having moved to the Stags in the summer of 2020 from Hayes & Yeading.

He had originally signed for United in March 2019 from another league rival, Harrow Borough.

He started out with Ashford Town (Middx) before moving to Staines Town in August 2015.

Subsequent moves took him to both Merstham, Kingstonian and back to Merstham at the start of the 2018/19 season, joining Harrow from the latter a few weeks later.

He returned to Merstham in November 2019 after a short spell with Farnborough.

Also joining Hayes & Yeading on loan from League Two side Leyton Orient is young goalkeeper Rhys Byrne.

The 20-year-old has recently returned to the O’s following a month’s loan with Isthmian League Premier Division side Canvey Island.

Byrne (pictured) signed a professional contract with Orient in the summer of 2021, following a season of training with the first team.

An agile keeper with good command of his box, he made his senior debut for Orient in the EFL Trophy at home to Southampton under-21s in September 2021, and subsequently played in three more matches in the tournament before Orient were knocked out by MK Dons in a penalty shoot-out and kept clean sheets in all four appearances.

He signed a new deal at the club in the summer of 2022 to keep him at Brisbane Road for a further season.
