Gladiators Move for McHale

With Jake Day moving out to join rivals Whitby Town, Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Matlock Town have looked to another league rival in Radcliffe to bring in Dominic McHale on loan.

The 26-year-old was a junior with Manchester City before moving to Barnsley in 2014.

He went on to have spells with Ramsbottom United, Northwich Victoria, Salford City, Cypriot outfit Achyronas Liopetriou, Southport, Ashton United and FC United of Manchester.

He joined Isthmian League North side Romford after a short spell with then-League Two outfit Oldham Athletic in November 2019.

He returned north to sign for NPL Premier Division side South Shields in January 2020 and then re-joined league rivals Ashton United two months later and then Vanarama National League North outfit AFC Telford United in September 2020.

He moved to Radcliffe earlier this summer.
