The dominant 32-year-old brings to Aggborough a wealth of League experience, having racked up the better part of 400 appearances across his career for the likes of Notts County and Mansfield Town.

Whilst with the Stags he was captain and named in the League Two team of the season as they boasted the division’s meanest defence.

In addition to that, Pearce has featured extensively in non-League since 2020 for Solihull, Boreham Wood and most recently Hereford FC, where he scooped the league’s player of the month award for November last season.

The commanding centre-back has numerous caps for his country, too, representing Barbados as recently as this summer.
