Striker
George Beattie (pictured) is seen as a huge addition to the Stow front line.
He
scored 25 goals for former Essex Senior League rivals Cockfosters last season
and was also their managers` and players' player of the year.
He
joined Cockfosters in 2018 from Hertford Town.
After
starting out at Boreham Wood, he has also seen service with Ware, St
Margaretsbury, Enfield Town and Chalfont St Peter.
Reece
Mosanya is a pacey winger who follows Beattie from Cockfosters, for whom he
scored 17 goals last season.
Originally
with Scunthorpe United, the 25-year-old also had a spell with Canvey Island
The
most experienced newcomer to the Stow squad to date is much-travelled
goalkeeper Lamar Joseph-Johnson.
The
30-year-old joins from Isthmian League North Division side Tilbury, who he
re-joined in February 2022 from Isthmian Premier side Haringey Borough.
He
had signed for Haringey in November 2021 from league rivals Bowers & Pitsea
where he had been since July 2020 after arriving from Isthmian North side
Canvey Island, where he had been since July 2019.
He
originally came through the ranks at Charlton Athletic. He then embarked on his
non-League travels, mainly around Essex, with the likes of Concord Rangers,
Romford, Aveley, Grays Athletic, Chelmsford City, Tilbury, Basildon United,
Thurrock and Waltham Abbey – and had more than one spell with some of them.
He
occasionally ventured out of Essex with Soham Town Rangers and Hertford Town.
In
November 2019, he received a call-up for St Lucia and kept a clean-sheet on his
debut for the country in a 1–0 win against the Dominican Republic. |
