Defender
James Baillie joins the Robins from league rivals Warrington Town.
The
26-year-old had joined the Yellows in September 2020 from Mossley AFC where he
spent a year.
He
began his career with SkyBet League Two side Crewe Alexandra and signed a
professional contract with the club in May 2014.
He
made his League debut in August 2014 and went to make 16 first team
appearances.
In
March 2016 he joined NPL Premier Division side Nantwich Town on loan and
following his release by Crewe at the end of the 2015/16 season he signed for
Mossley`s Vanamara National League North neighbours Curzon Ashton.
He
made 51 appearances for The Nash but missed the whole of the 2018/19 season
through injury.
Central
midfielder Ben Hough also arrives at Hurst Cross from Warrington.
The
18-year-old had been with the Wire since the summer of 2021.
He
was picked up by then-League Two Oldham Athletic while playing for Runcorn
Linnets juniors at the age of 10 and made his first team debut in the EFL
Trophy in 2020/21 before being released at the end of the campaign.
Callum
Saunders, the son of former Wales and Liverpool star Dean, who is also a
striker, joins from former league rivals Witton Albion.
The
26-year-old had joined Witton in September 2021 from Curzon Ashton.
He
had joined the Nash from another Northern Premier side, Nantwich Town, in June
2019.
He
was also a product of the Crewe youth system where he made 27 appearances
before moving on to Notts County where he played just 3 times.
He
spent the 2018/19 season with Nantwich, scoring 10 goals in 36 appearances, 12
of which were from the bench.
He
has also represented Wales at under-19 and under-21 level.
Striker
Jake Kenny has joined from JD Cymru Premier side Flint Town United.
He
had been with Flint since the summer of 2021 after joining from Caernarfon
Town.
Originally
with Leigh Genesis and then Rhyl, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Prestatyn Town.
Experienced
midfielder Max Harrop (pictured) makes the short trip from Curzon Ashton.
The
28-year-old had joined the Nash from former league rivals Altrincham in the
summer of 2020.
Prior
to his departure from Moss Lane, he had registered 108 appearances for the
Robins, scoring on 12 occasions.
His
career began in Liverpool's academy, before a move to Bury followed.
While
at Bury, he made 8 appearances for the Shakers, while also enjoying loan spells
with Blyth Spartans, Hinckley United and Tamworth.
Following
his release from Gigg Lane, Harrop went on to turn out for Nantwich Town,
Ashton United and Ramsbottom United prior to joining Altrincham in August 2017.
He
was part of Alty's promotion-winning side and made 21 appearances for Phil
Parkinson's outfit.
His
final appearance for the Robins came during their play-off eliminator win over
Chester FC. |
