After
discussions between the player and the club, Eastleigh have allowed him to
leave for a move closer to home.
Hare
made 74 appearances for the Spitfires across two spells at the club, including
24 games so far this season where he scored one goal and registered five
assists.
The
27-year-old had re-joined Eastleigh in June 2021 following his release by
Bristol Rovers.
He
returned to the Spitfires having spent an impressive season in Hampshire in
2018/19 which earned him his move to Rovers in the first place.
He
joined Eastleigh in June 2018 from Maidstone United and made his debut for the
Spitfires on the opening day of the season against Solihull Moors and was a
mainstay for the remainder of the campaign, racking up 45 appearances in all
competitions.
His
performances also earn himself a place in the National League 2018/19 team of
the season.
Born
in Canterbury, he joined the academy of his most local League side Gillingham,
where he rose through the ranks and signed his first professional contract in
2012.
In
the 2014/15 season he returned on loan to Eastbourne Borough, where he had been
two years prior, but also made three first team appearances for the Gills - two
in League One and one in the League Cup.
He
eventually moved permanently to Eastbourne in 2016, playing a season before
moving on to Maidstone, where he enjoyed a second season of frequent football,
prior to his move up to Eastleigh.
He
enjoyed a fine start to life in the blue and white quarters but after an ACL
injury, he struggled to break back into the team. |
