The 23-year-old, Gainsborough born and bred, joined his home-town club in August after being released by SkyBet League Two Scunthorpe United, whom he joined as a 9-year-old, at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Loan spells at Spennymoor Town and fellow Vanarama National League North outfit Hereford FC gave the defender good experience, adding to the 30 games he has made for the Iron across five seasons, experience around first-team squads in League One and Two giving the full-back a solid foundation in the game.
