Experienced
striker Dan Bradley (pictured) joins Boro after being released by Vanarama National League
North side Afreton Town earlier this week.
The
30-year-old had re-joined the Reds in July 2020 from then-National League
outfit AFC Fylde where he had been since January 2019, following his departure
to Kidderminster Harriers 18 months earlier.
He
initially joined the Coasters back in 2016 from Alfreton for what was then a
club record fee – and he certainly didn’t disappoint.
Forming
a formidable partnership in the National League North with Danny Rowe, he
notched 18 goals himself, whilst proving a great foil for Rowe, who bagged 47
himself.
He
started out on Aston Villa`s books and spent two years with Tamworth before
joining Kidderminster in January 2012.
Also
moving to Liberty Way is young midfielder Camron McWilliams.
The
20-year-old joins from league rivals St Ives Town, where he had been since
August.
He
was, however, no stranger to Westwood Road as he had a loan spell with the
Saints in 2019/20, making 3 appearances and scoring one goal when still on the
books at Northampton Town.
He
joined the Saints on a more permanent basis after being released by Championship
side Cardiff City, who he joined in the summer of 2020 from the Cobblers, where
he played at under-18 level, as well as featuring for the first team.
Indeed,
he was the first player born this millennium to have been named in a senior
matchday squad for Northampton when he was named on the bench for a Checkatrade
Trophy tie against Peterborough United in 2017.
A
versatile player who is comfortable in a number of positions across midfield
and defence, he has also been on loan at Corby Town and was a member of
Cardiff`s under-23 squad last term.
Also
joining Boro but only for a month is Jaden Charles from League Two side
Mansfield Town.
Charles
is the son of former England international Gary Charles, and plays primarily at
left back, representing the Republic of Ireland at under-18 level, and
previously winning the Professional Development League Under-18 Division One
title with previous club Derby County.
The
19-year-old has recently returned to Field Mill following month spells with
both Vanarama National League North sides Hereford FC and York City this
season.
He
has also made 4 appearances for the Stags` first team. |
